3.1 – ACS1000 Medium voltage inverter

This inverter series is used for motors with capacity from 315kW to 5MW, current capacity up to 4.16kV.

The ABB medium voltage inverter series ACS1000 is suitable for both new and upgraded motors. In addition, the machine also has an output sine filter, so when the current through the bearings and the voltage pulse at the motor is eliminated.

The ACS1000 inverter is fully integrated with an input transformer and an input contactor.

3.2 – ACS2000 medium voltage inverter

The ACS2000 series of inverters are designed for motors from 250kW to 2.5MW and current capacity up to 6.9kV.

This series of ACS2000  inverters are used without an isolation transformer, so it allows direct connection to the grid or an integrated transformer.

What’s special about this model is that the four-quadrant operations allow regenerative braking and help compensate for reactive power.

3.3 – ACS5000 medium voltage inverter

With standard industrial motors, the ACS5000 inverter is the optimal solution for large capacity motors from 2 to 32MW and current capacity up to 6.9kV.

3.4 – ACS6000 medium voltage inverter
