What is an inverter? An inverter can be a small electrical circuit or a mechanical device that converts alternating current at one frequency into alternating current at another, but can still be adjusted.
Inverters are very commonly used in industrial and civil fields, especially in industrial applications such as water pumps, exhaust fans, air compressors, conveyors, lifting/lowering equipment. , glue laminating machine, injection molding machine, elevator, mixer, etc.
2.Why use an inverter?
Based on the above formula, there are 3 methods to change the speed of the motor as follows:
1-change motor pole P.
2-change the slip coefficient s.
3-change the frequency f the voltage of the input.
Methods 1 and 2 are very difficult to implement and do not bring high efficiency. Method #3 is the most effective. This is the method where the inverter is a device used to change the frequency of the power supply placed on the motor, thereby helping to change the speed of the motor.
The inverter can also change the frequency from 0Hz – 400Hz, there are some other inverter lines that can adjust the frequency to over 590Hz. Thanks to that, the inverter makes the motor run faster than normal.
