1 – Cause the inverter has no output voltage

There are many causes of inverter no output voltage, here are some of the most common causes:

+ The first cause you can think of is that the output IGBT is damaged. This makes the inverter unable to supply voltage to the motor. Or if the output IGBT is not damaged but the jack board is damaged, it also causes the inverter to fail.

+ The second cause is also related to IGBT that is the wire leading to the IGBT to the wire bridge is broken or when cleaning and repairing the inverter, forgetting to attach it also makes the inverter no output voltage.

+ The third reason is that the parameter settings are not correct, so the setting of the run command does not have or does not have a frequency for reference.

+ The fourth cause is also a common cause due to the installation, the wiring is wrong output. In this case, the wiring needs to be carefully considered because if the wrong wire is connected, it can cause fire and explosion of the motor and inverter.

In addition, it should be noted that the voltage output of the inverter is a special waveform unlike household electricity. So if you use a cheap meter, you won’t be able to measure the voltage.

2 – Instructions to fix the inverter has no output voltage

Here are the steps sequentially:

+ Step 1: It is necessary to check carefully once again whether the output voltage status is available or not by using the best type of AC voltmeter. You try plugging in 3 pairs of UV, UW, VW in turn to see if there is an output voltage. It is recommended to use the digital electronic meter VOM to measure the output voltage of the inverter and then switch to the AC scale to measure correctly.

+ Step 2: Need to see if the RUN indicator light on the inverter’s screen lights up, next to see if the switch and start button have been activated. Then check the potentiometer rheostat knob to see if there is a reference frequency. If everything is fine here, but the inverter has no output voltage, then you proceed to compare the settings on the inverter with the manufacturer’s manual such as running commands, the reference frequency has matched. each other or not. If they do not match, proceed to reset to default mode and proceed to install from the beginning.

+ If you have done all the above 2 steps but the inverter error is still not fixed, then turn off the inverter power and conduct IGBT cold measurement to see if the IGBT has a problem or not.

+ Finally, remove the inverter to check the wires and the plugs from the control circuit through the power circuit are loose.
